So we’re all in agreement that The Odyssey trailer featured some very deliberate and genius trolling right? The fact that we got a clip that suggested Matt Damon was leading men into battle with a horrendously out of place “Let’s go!” only to discover that’s absolutely NOT what is happening 👏

“…it kicks wide of the goal one time too many and ultimately doesn’t have a story that’s any way as novel as it might think it is, though there’s more than enough vintage Spielberg in there to provide a pretty decent time in the cinema all the same.” niallhetherington.wordpress.com/2026/06/12/f...

Widow’s Bay just excellently solved the standalone/origins/flashback episode problem with the simplest solution - release the next episode on the same day Genius

Widow’s Bay just achieved that rare feat of managing to be absolutely terrifying in a scene set in broad daylight. It was then immediately hilarious. I love this show

Finally getting around to The Leftovers, 12 yrs later. I’m 100% in it for the duration but I can absolutely see how it became the “adored but little seen” show it is. Season 1, six episodes in and there’s been a hell of a lot of acting, an awful lot of mystery but little to no hooks or progression

Just finished a Breaking Bad rewatch for the umpteenth time Never fails to shock me that the entire 5 seasons take place over a period of just two years

First two episodes a great setup, man it really is one of the best shows of this century Please let Frenchie and Kimiko ride off into the sunset. I can’t deal with anything other than that
