Great new blog by @niamhredgate.bsky.social explaining the PIP backlog. Our advisers tell us that PIP makes a huge difference to someone's budget. It can be the difference between being able to cover your essential costs, or going in the red each month. 20 weeks is far too long to wait for support.

Great blog from @niamhredgate.bsky.social on PIP delays: 📉 Overall PIP backlog is reducing (good news!) 📈 But no. of people waiting for new claim decisions has increased ⏲️ And average waiting times for a new claim are now 20 weeks, the highest in nearly 4 years
