We need to make "Balancing stuff on Mitch McConnell" as much of a thing as "Balancing stuff on my cat" Then for sure someone will leak pics of stuff they piled up on the real Mitch and we can get an update

A day or two around people who have English as their 2nd or 3rd language and all of a sudden I am not using contractions anymore. Just like my wife can tell when I'm on the phone with a customer vs anyone else, I have my Customer Voice on

People are making fun of AOC for having a slight southern accent while speaking in Memphis but they clearly don’t know the pain of habitually and unconsciously imitating the speaking style of the people around you

By far the largest trophy I earned in school was for 3rd place in a state competition for - Computer Literacy. I had zero time to prepare; a school admin asked if I would take this test, it's right now, and I said sure My parents were very surprised a month later when I came home with this 3' trophy

Okay, my QUESTION OF THE DAY is… What is your weirdest actual accomplishment? Not the biggest necessarily…but the weirdest?

Everything you need to know about Jesse Watters: His latest on how good it is that soldiers getting testosterone will be more aggressive rapists than ever isn't even worth its own section on his Wikipedia page; it's just been added as a paragraph to one of the 12 existing Controversy sections

This has the vibes of an 80s high school movie where the stoner has just slammed his report on the teacher's desk saying "Just go ahead and give me the A right now, read it and weep losers" I'm not a lawyer, but this argument seems REALLY bad.

U.S. Attorney Andrew Boutros argues that he believed the press conference he attended in DC with Acting AG Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel complied with the seal order because it was "for the purpose of facilitating 'the enforcement of criminal law.'"

No disrespect to this fine cookie review, but these were the worst Oreos I've ever had in my life. The "fake maple syrup" odor and taste were violently overpowering for me, I couldn't even force myself to finish one - and I really never turn down a cookie. My kid, on the other hand, loves them.

COOKIE REVIEW: Oreo BTS cookie with "brown sugar pancake" filling: Not bad! Extremely sweet. The purple cookies don't particularly taste purple; I think they are probably the "Golden Oreo" formula with dye. Will probably plough through the package but will survive not getting any more after this.

Pinkish purple Oreos with the Oreo logo on the obverse and various BTS-related sentences on the reverse.

Did not expect to learn some grammar rules for when to use an en dash while trying to learn about SCOTUS decisions, but here we are And realizing why there's an en dash in "Rooker–Feldman doctrine" is way better than trying to learn about the Rooker–Feldman doctrine

Every time I deal with health insurance I'm even more motivated to burn the entire health insurance industry to the ground But for now I will waste my team yelling at my pharmacy to yell at my doctor's office to yell at my insurance to get me my prescription I've been taking for years

This summer the kids have finally had enough free time to get some board games in pretty regularly. This weekend, it was a few games of Chemical Overload - still feel like I'm wrapping my head around strategy on this one, it's different enough from other deckbuilders
