For the first time in over 20 years of using macOS / OSX, I’ve downgraded from the current release to the previous one (Tahoe back to Sequoia). I tried my hardest to adapt to Tahoe but it’s just so bad in so many places. Really hoping that they right the ship.

Upgraded to macOS Tahoe expecting to thoroughly hate and it's fine. There's a good number of rough edges that I'm sure will get refined over time, but in general I'm cool with it.

I wonder if the number of folks abandoning macOS won't have the effect of Apple pulling back on their work and reshaping it into what it should be (and once was). Instead of fighting to regain those users they'll just say "fuck it" and leave it to rot into irrelevance.
