An exodus of UK citizens is being driven by tens of thousands of eastern Europeans moving home after gaining citizenship or taking British partners with them.
Poland and Romania recorded the highest increase in the number of British people moving from the UK in the past four years, according to United Nations data.
In total, central and eastern European countries reported an increase of more than 100,000 British citizens among their populations.
