Just finished watching the season premier of Ted Lasso. The magic is back. It's just such a wonderful show. An observation: Ted appears to mask. With he's around ANYONE, he's a bemused, happy-go-lucky, making people laugh guy. When he's by himself, the smile immediately drops, as does the mask.
I'm sure I speak for a large portion of Canada when I ask...

I'm watching The Black Cauldron, which feels like 40 years in the making for me. My sister was going to take me to see it in theatres with her daughter. I was about 8, my niece about 4. But my sister decided it'd be too scary for a sensitive 4 year old. 1/2

Y'know that argument that cyclists only bike 6 months of the year? (Untrue, but people still argue it) In colder climates like Canada, that is literally true of golf courses. It's such a massive waste of space for something used only half the year.

Marvel has made a lot of mistakes and questionable decisions, but I respect the hell out of them for not recasting T'Challa and moving on like nothing happened. They easily could have and I think most people would've been fine with it (eventually), but I respect Marvel to not do it.

And Mr. Boseman’s colleagues did not feel comfortable with simply replacing him with another actor. These are real people who knew him in real life. That means more than your action movie desires.
I'm gonna watch at least one tonight! Not sure what, yet, but I'm leaning towards BACKROOMS.

Oh dang, I didn't know Inferno was a result of Claremont's frustrations with editorial. That's amazing. I've never read the event, but I've always been curious. Not too long ago, I read the Daredevil tie-in issues by Nocenti & Romita Jr for the first time. They were outstanding.

I had a blast with last year's #100HorrorMoviein92Days challenge, so I'm gonna try again this year, starting tomorrow. Last year, I was on leave for work and injured from a bike accident, so I had time to watch a lot. Not sure I'll have the luxury of time this year, but I'll try.
