Dolly Parton was someone whose life I never closely followed but whose admiration and respect for I felt in every instance where her name was mentioned… and I think that’s the kind of goal we should all aspire to in our own lifetimes.
Losing Dolly Parton is so fucking sad I can't say I was deeply familiar with her work, but I know she was compassionate, wise, and badass in her personal life; the kind of person I wish the world had more of. And now there's one less. So lets all honor her by aspiring to be more like her, yeah? 🥂
