Let’s ditch Black Friday. Let’s start Social Media Blackout Friday. No screens, no scrolling, no shopping. Being on social media less is better for the environment. The less time we scroll, the less we are targeted by ads. So we shop less and less ends up in landfills. Comment if you're in!

Picture of a page from The Clean Green Neighborhood children's book. This page of the book shows a cutaway view of a house in the clean green neighborhood. You can see via the cutaway that the house has an EV being charged in its garage. On the house itself workers are installing solar panels on the house's roof. There is also a heat pump clothes dryer, a heat pump water heater, a ground-source heat pump in the house's basement, and an induction stove in the house's kitchen. The page also shows that the house's attic and walls are insulated, and that there are ducts that distribute hot and cool air from the ground source heat pump to rooms throughout the home.
