@hcrichardson.bsky.social Henry, here may have summarized our current affairs and quandary. Years ago. A useful read,no wonder he was so influential essay “Civil Disobedience” (1849).
The date.😶🌫️🤯🤯🤯 Civil Disobedience (essay) 1849 essay by Henry David Thoreau Still a good read. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_D...
If Joe Biden got one word out of place, Jake Tapper would write a book about it. If you’re tired of the double standard- try independent media. It’s free. It’s award-winning. It has swearing. substack.com/@muellershew...

Crazy waste of time: looked at the facility called Mar a Largo. First thing one pool is only open 8am-8pm. No early swim no laps to wind down a long hot day. Inside pict the scale feels wrong, the decor chaotic. Anything but not relaxing. Camp David however, if I had to study or decompress 📚😊
The media is confusing the types of AI and data centers. The icon on your phone reaches out and touches civilian stuff with consumers as the product. They might employ a one or two dozen people per square mile (locally). Data centers in Silicon Valley ear protectors. hoodline.com/2026/04/utah...

We have a common mail room with a lot of names. Folk often get packages and letters that are ambiguous. Lately I see random letters some first class: wrong Street, wrong City, wrong Name. INCORRECTLY SORTED at the central station? Are these random new employee errors or a test. Anomaly=true.
We should stop the use of party names. This keyboard sees two parties: kleptocrats and tax payers. There are other named buckets but Republican and Democrats seems wrong. Citizen united 🤯
This voter ID scam in progress and interaction with the postoffice has implications. I would NOTE WELL! If the ID has an expiration date that in no way can expire your rights as a citizen. The current structure implicitly expires your rights.
If you’ve ever taken the oath to uphold the Constitution, this is the time to live up to it.
Removing a checkbox does not erase your voting rights. Check your state’s requirements, contact your election office, and share this with Americans living abroad. Don’t let confusion keep you from voting.
PSA: The Trump administration changed the form used to register and request absentee ballots, removing the checkbox for US citizens who have never lived in the US(even though some are eligible to vote under state law). The change could block eligible voters and was made without proper public notice.
McDonald's is now reportedly pressuring franchisees to use AI to price food. Its CEO raked in $20.6M last year, over 1,000x the median McDonald's worker pay of $19,020. And they remain one of the largest employers of Medicaid and SNAP recipients. I'm not lovin' it.
If ashli babbitt's family can get $5 million after she literally broke into the Capitol to overturn an election, Renee Good's family should get at least triple that for ICE agents murdering her in the damn street.
Ask your favorite expert to ponder Hickam's Dictum to tRump. My naive count of problematic personality traits is long. He also suffers old codger medical and mental issues. Occam move over, the list is long. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hickam%...

It’s not just the 7. Or the 57. It’s the whole system.
The law isn’t helping. New York’s voluntary intoxication loophole makes it nearly impossible for survivors to seek justice if they drank or used substances prior to an assault. Because of this loophole, Jane Doe’s assailants may never be held accountable under the law.
Enjoin the outlet that aired the propaganda from cashing the check. Make the media production company and the outlet as co-conspirators and escrow funds transacted or promised.
Elect a convicted felon, you get a criminal government.
There's something special about a man falling asleep on live television three minutes after calling his predecessor "Sleepy Joe."
Jack Smith: "History teaches that the rule of law is rarely destroyed all at once. It's often weakened by attacks on the institutions and the public servants sworn to uphold it. Since January 2025, we have witnessed precisely such an effort."
Before calling someone a “dirtbag,” the Senator should have had his facts straight. An apology is in order. Glad one of us knew the difference between the Atlanta Hawks and the Iowa Hawkeyes!
