Made it back to Rate Field earlier this week for Pope Hat Day, in honor native Chicagoan and White Sox fan Pope Leo XIV. A nun threw the first pitch and a priest led the stadium in the Rite of Peace in the middle of the 5th Inning. No entrapments in empty liminal spaces occurred this time.

I’ve spent the past couple of weeks on vacation, during which I found myself with little to no desire to be on my phone, scrolling through endless feeds of random content. It was quite refreshing, hoping to maintain that a bit now that I’m back. Attached is a succinct summary of my time off.
