Despite what Mojang has apparently claimed to some YouTubers, TwitchCon cape codes have not expired even though it's past the specified date. This has been the case for all past capes and even all/most character creator codes. They really should expire to curb the market, but alas they don't.
Seems like there's some sort of exploit going around to get anybody banned from Minecraft, even if they haven't recently played multiplayer. Once banned, you cannot join any server/realms. Current notable victims have been Dr Donut, ibxtoycat and SB737.
ALERT: Anybody you add on Java's new friend list is also added on Xbox. If you view their profile on Xbox, you can see their full gov name. Put a fake name OR: Disable Xbox Privacy & Safety Settings: - Others can see your real name - You can share your real name with friends of friends
Some photos of the Minecraft London pop-up that Xbox hosted for the 15th anniversary a couple years ago. They handed out magnets for everybody to place onto this huge cube. There was also a big counter, which I have no idea to this day what it was for… Also, are those pre-Jappe diamond textures?
So bummed I missed out the first year although I was playing. Only got year 2 and 3!

Welcome back, Mineplex * Was going to play with a bunch of friends during the launch hour, but there was a 7,000 player queue - we had a fun hang out in our VC at least!
STILL MISSING TWITCHCON! I've felt much closer to my Minecraft friends since it ended. Really hoping there's more Minecraft goodness in future conventions :) Half thinking of booking fully refundable hotel near the San Diego venue to lock in my rates.

Northern England finally getting some Minecraft love! Alton Towers is a wonderful, fun place. Haven't visited since pre-covid times but went many times as a kid. Wanted an excuse to go again, and looks like this is the perfect one :)

TwitchCon EU was fun :) Met many friends. Gonna write a blog post about it later this week. Felt so much like a return to form Minecon with some differences, which I’ll get into soon!
Twitchcon is going to have: - Minecraft exhibit hall - Minecraft Live - MCYT meet & greets - Exclusive cape I really hope this is Mojang testing the waters for a true return of MINECON. I'll be meeting a handful of online friends at Twitchcon, but SO MANY MORE would visit an actual con.

Something I ❤️ about Hytale is the fact they have bug bounty payouts from day one. Had friends who’ve pentested MC and have gotten nothing in return, other companies would give $$$$$. Not having bug bounties opens the door to only bad actors with malicious intent being the ones finding flaws.
One thing about Hytale I don’t like is the core Twitter community. They glaze Hytale way too much and try to shy away from any form of pushback or criticism. This is *NOT* how an early access game will succeed. Community members need to speak honestly about how things suck and how to improve.
I'd like it to be more different to Minecraft. It's very polished, but the feeling I get when I play is that I'd rather just play Minecraft. It's very early, though, and I know modding will be an important aspect. I will definitely play more later.
Tried my best to re-create a human version of my Minecraft/Penguin avatar in Hytale. Making non-humanoid characters is very difficult so decided to just settle for making him human. Blue skin looks too much like a smurf!
The core Hytale community glazes the game laughably too much lol. Bar is set at "they did bug fixes instead of doing nothing" less than 24 hours after release day. Game is pretty fun! Haven't played enough to form proper opinions just yet, just saw this tweet and wanted to point it out.
It has recently come to my attention that baby parrots do not exist in Minecraft. (you simply can't breed them) This shalt not stand. 🦜
The drop system definitely has its issues, but something I like most about it is how older, forgotten features can finally get the attention they deserve. New baby textures are so cute, and honestly something I really overlooked ever getting an update. Excited for what's to come in 26.1!
