I like using drawings instead of screenshots in my mini recommendations because they help avoid spoilers. I can substitute important characters with myself, and I can use artistic licensing to both avoid spoilers and make it harder to discern what is a spoiler.

Sometimes, I'll think I might have bad media literacy because I often don't see obvious reveals coming. And then I'll see people struggle to understand a scene or certain details that I understood immediately, and I feel like I could have had it much worse.
It's taking a long while to find the right parts to set my computer back up. But I still haven't forgotten about wanting to host a game jam. I don't expect a big jam, probably only a handful of people will join, but I think it'll be fun, it's something I've always wanted to do.
Every day I am thankful for the existence of developer commentary. It's so cool to learn why everything is the way it is.
I think I'd like to host a game jam in the near future. I've always loved game jams, and I would love to come up with my own themes and challenges
I don't understand why people use AI for placeholders. It literally creates a new problem, which is that it's easy to miss in development that it's a placeholder, so it's just left in the game. It takes less than a minute to draw a placeholder texture or sprite. You don't need AI for that.
I'm going through a creative block, and I think I'm okay with that. I've come to realize I'm not any less creative for not having fresh ideas all the time. I've exhausted the ideas I can achieve at my skill level, and eventually, I will have more ideas.
I'd rather be niche popular than mainstream popular for multiple reasons. I don't wanna be known by everyone on the internet because not everyone is good people.
the fun part about a level editor in a puzzle game is that you can go off the assumption that the player has already played the base game, so you can make a puzzle as hard as you want and as niche of a mechanical interaction as you want.
Was trying out Lucid Blocks and came across a shadowy flat creature just standing still. When I walked towards it and looked at it's face my power went out and scared the shit out of me. I thought I was becoming part of an ARG for a brief second.
I want to add a support me button on my itch page for my next game so I can get some money but still let people play for free, but everytime I try to add donations it adds a download button and I want my games played in browser. Does anyone know how to add donations without the download button?
Hot take, I think more immersive sims should have no combat. Not to say combat in those games are bad, I loved a lot that did, just that the genre might be limiting itself when a majority of these games have combat.
I don't like April Fools. It's the one day where everyone does a gag, and gags are funny in small amounts, but when it’s everyone, I stop trusting anyone until the day is over.
Another batch of reviews. Video games are so cool Games mentioned: Mewgenics, Rhell: Warped Worlds & Troubled Times, Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo, Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom
I found a bunch of old clips on my nintendo switch I'd like to share semi-daily Game: Portal
The idea that modern gaming sucks is actually a skill issue. play better games, there's a lot of them.
We're looking for Part Time UFO fans! #Clawsome
Might switch away from MSpaint, cause I'm starting to see the benefit of being able to fix spelling mistakes without needing to manually crop text. Games Mentioned: Slay the Princess, Heavenly Bodies, Here Comes Niko!, Opus Magnum
Trying to use any art program other than MSpaint. Wtf is a layer. Why does everything take 4 extra steps? What are all these tools? If you're wondering why this isn't a comic, it's because the program I used didn't save any of the panels properly.
Censorship of LGBTQ+ topics has always been to protect parents, not kids. Kids can understand these topics fine, it's the parents that struggle with them.
I really hate the "Don't make a (insert genre) game, they don't sell" advice. I can't be the only one who thinks that's really bad game dev advice.
Sorry for my bad English, it's my worst language and also my only language.
