How tall are your characters? Quote with your main cast! I already have my own lineup of em hehe. Heights are listed in the image & alt text. For the record, Kura is the smallest of all my OCs (if you don’t count the Elf & Halfling characters from my reaaally old fantasy story).

Yes ofc. One of the main themes of Vampirates is individualism. All of the main cast have had their individuality/personality restricted in some way by society. It wasn’t until they met Night that they’d be able to discard their troubled past as humans and live freely. But yeah, very traumatic

I don’t remember if I’ve posted about this before, but I’ve got an idea for a vampirates spinoff where Night is now an outlaw in the 1800s who hijacks trains to disencourage American imperialism

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea character sketches, since that’s what I’ve been reading. Most of them besides Nemo weren’t given much of a physical description so this is my interpretation.

Sketch of Ned Land from 20,000 Leagues. I gave him long, dark blonde hair, and a bandana + striped t-shirt like a sailor. He has a ticked off expression and body language. Also, the only description that I remember is that he’s apparently over six feet tallSketch of Aronnax and Conseil. They’re both dressed nicely. Aronnax has a mustache, goatee, and slightly wavy hair while Conseil is clean-shaven and looks visibly younger Sketch of Captain Nemo. From what I remember, his description in the book said he has pale skin and very wide eyes that give him a wider field of view; and I thiiiink it’s said that he’s clean shaven but I’m not totally sure. It’s stated that he looks ageless, and his true nationality is unknown (so far in the book), so I tried not to give him many notable ethnic features and a plain looking face that’s still unique

You know what I just realized? Vampire pirates. The captain should ABSOLUTELY have a pet bat (as opposed to a parrot like Long John Silver). How did I not think of this sooner

Night sketches. I imagine that her most powerful blood manipulation technique would be to use nearly all of her body’s blood to make a large pair of fake wings and fly like a bat.
