New #ARCHE Data Collection online! The IUENNA collection is a comprehensive set of digital archaeological data describing sites Globasnitz, Hemmaberg, Jaunstein, Jauntal and St Stefan. The project was carried out by @oeai.bsky.social and kaernten.museum. More at hdl.handle.net/21.11115/000...

Text on Image: The IUENNA collection aims to provide an exemplary model study and a sustainable long-term archive of archaeological data from one of the most critical Late Antique landscapes in the Southeast Alpine region. It includes a diverse array of digital and digitized resources focused on archaeological research and documentation in Jauntal. The data stems from archaeology, geophysics, born-digital data, documentary photography, environmental archaeology, restoration, and architectural research. It has been collected over decades and consists of text, tables, databases, raster datasets, vector datasets, and 3D data. 
Raster and vector data are particularly relevant to photography, graphics, and geoinformation fields, representing topographic surfaces, spatial geometries, and including qualitative and quantitative attributes.
