Movie and Television Addict who loves to read books, comics and the occasional divination deck. I love writing but I've written more tutorials than anything super creative in a hot minute.

I loved the national tour of Hadestown that I saw but I have to say, the two original lady leads (plus De Shields) in the proshot are really something special. Though my Eurydice (Megan Colton) was f'AMAZING.

I managed to snag a premium screen for Spider-Man in Glendora. Dumb Barnes & Noble next door convinced me to buy another book. Ughhh!! Good thing is I'm actually reading through my collection.

I saw Hadestown at 8:30 am and it was really good. All the showings went to Spider-Man and The Odyssey, so i had to go early and do an unnecessary security check at City Walk. I can confirm for sure- for sure there was a horse's ass present.

Posing in front of an "actual" sized Trojan Horse from Nolan's The Odyssey at City Walk in Universal Hollywood. I spend most of my time reading The Odyssey and saying, "wait, does Athena look like Athena this time? Oh no, she's a little girl. Wait. She's an eagle this time!" She's pretty much Maui from Moana. The translation I'm reading they sure like to talk about Dawn's red fingers--like a lot!

I went and got my haircut and eyebrows threaded (cleaned up). Then I came home and trimmed my beard and my nostril trees. I spend way too much time de-hairing.

I'm going to read two more books of The Odyssey and then I'm either going to play mindless video games or watch a movie from my "pile of movies to watch." This translation I'm reading is pretty easy to digest.

"Can't keep a vampire X-Men down!" was processed by my brain as, "Can't keep a vampire lesbian down!" Not kidding. I just accepted that until I really paid attention. -Jubilation Lee of Marvel Rivals

I just listened to Kelly Clarkson's live and third version of "Piece by Piece" and it's so good. I totally relate to the song. I get being left alone and having to figure things out without anyone around. It sucks but I think EVERYONE will find themselves resilient when they thought they had peeps.

The Odyssey was excellent. The entire time I felt disconnected with one character until a reveal that made me go "that's what it was!" My biggest gripe which is a common one w/Nolan: The female characters are never a main-main with a lot of screen time. They're always characters you want more of.

Men. Can't live with them-- I am one. 🥲 This dating/relationship dance is both fun and also very exhausting. Open relationship people are warriors with the stamina/patience of gods.

Just got back from seeing Evanescence with my friend who learned how to speak English learning the words to the Fallen album back when it came out. It was a great time!

I think it's the fact I'm starting to "Boomer" but I take such pleasure in having a Changing Album of comic covers I've been reading as my iPad screen. I open my iPad and just get happy with what I see.

This restaurant is by the old (now replaced) comic book store that I was obsessed with as a kid: Another World Comics in Eagle Rock. I've only gone once to this restaurant as a kid after going to Another World (comics..hehe) with my mom. **I like that you can't hear JT in my post.

I went to Costco. Had a philosophical experience about myself while there. Got gas, which took another year. I drive back home. In the middle of cooking, I get a text from Costco that my glasses are ready. 😮‍💨
