Members of Congress shouldn’t own stocks. They especially shouldn’t own stocks for industries they oversee. Tom Kean Jr. is on the Energy & Commerce committee overseeing AI, and he made $30k selling AI stocks. That’s wrong. NJ-7 deserves better.

i think the path of least resistance to universal coverage is a pincer movement (perhaps a…temporal pincer movement). you raise medicaid eligibility and lower medicare eligibility while also providing robust subsidies through obamacare. (de facto public option)
We are now hiring interns for our district office in Montclair! Interns in our district office will gain hands-on experience with constituent relations and community outreach. Visit mejia.house.gov/internships and apply by Monday, August 3rd. This is a paid internship.
President Trump has relentlessly attempted to push transgender people out of public life by attacking our fundamental rights and freedoms — but we won't let him get away with it. Tell our leaders in Congress to pass a bill that will defend trans people and our families.
Defend Trans Rights: No Place for LGBTQ+ Hate
The Trump administration is trying to push trans people out of public life. Congress must act immediately to block federal funds from being used to carry out discriminatory executive orders – and end ...

As a survivor of sexual assault, I know the courage it takes to speak the truth. No means no. It always has, and it always will. Graham Platner should end his Senate campaign immediately. To the women who came forward: I believe you. We must believe women first.
Join me this Tuesday for a telephone town hall! My friend, @raskin.house.gov, will join us to talk about what's happening to our voting rights, what the recent Supreme Court rulings mean for all of us, and how to build an economy that works for everyone. RSVP: Bit.ly/nj11townhall
We’ll be there!
The 14th Amendment gave us equal protection and due process and both are under threat today. Next Saturday, join us in community to talk about what’s at stake and how we protect voting rights and democracy itself. Hope to see you there! RSVP: bit.ly/14th-forum
Mark your calendars! Join me this upcoming Tuesday at 6:30pm for my first telephone town hall. Call in and ask me your questions or tune in LIVE on Facebook — I can't wait to hear from you! RSVP here: bit.ly/nj11townhall
The Supreme Court has made clear just how radicalized it has become. It’s time for term limits, a binding code of ethics, and the impeachment of Justices Alito and Thomas. Sign my petition urging Congress to reform the Supreme Court: mailchi.mp/analiliaforn...
absolutely vital to win the senate this november. need to basically blockade judicial confirmations for the next two years.
we are one john roberts heart attack away from the complete dissolution of the reconstruction amendments and instantiation of a formalized caste system
The Supreme Court affirmed birthright citizenship. While today's ruling offers a sigh of relief, the danger is still ever present. The fight to defend the 14th Amendment—rights like due process, and equal protection under the law—did not begin today, and it will not end today.
fundamentally, Alito and Thomas believe that the 14th Amendment established a hierarchy of citizenship or allowed the elected branches to do so. but that is totally ass backwards! it was explicitly written to *preclude* any hierarchy of citizenship. it is right there in the text!
The supermajority's decision in NRSC allows wealthy donors to circumvent limits on contributions to individual candidates by donating much larger sums to political parties, which can now spend the money in direct coordination with specific candidates. An open invitation for quid pro quo corruption.
Mental health care and family leave are good policy. For everyone, not just the privileged few
Trans rights are human rights. Trans friends, you are loved, you are seen. In NJ we will continue pushing for transgender protections - in schools, on the playing field, in medical treatment. Trans rights are human rights.
All of these cases are basically litmus tests for any Dem nominee. Are immigrants Americans? Do trans Americans deserve human rights? Are corporations superhumans who get to spend endlessly on elections to put whoever they want into power? These are simple questions with simple answers.
No matter what the Court says, trans people belong 🏳️⚧️ Read our full statement on the ruling at ncjw.org/supreme-court-abandons-transgender-youth Wondering how the decisions of this term will impact you and your rights? Register for our upcoming Supreme Court briefing on July 6: ncjw.org/SCOTUS26
If these reports are true, this is welcome news. When DHS purchased this warehouse, I stood with local leaders who unanimously opposed turning it into an ICE detention facility.
Rebecca Bennett is exactly the kind of fighter and next generation leader New Jersey families need in Washington. I am proud to stand with her in her race, and I look forward to helping her flip NJ-7, take back Congress, and work alongside her in Washington.
Senator @andykimnj.bsky.social has been a tireless champion for New Jersey families. I am so grateful to have his support, and I cannot wait to get to Washington and to work alongside him to solve the problems we are all facing in our everyday lives.
Congressman Kean should cancel this insult to his district and start by having a public town hall to explain himself in-person to his constituents. (2/2)
This is just horrible. I couldn't imagine the pain of being separated from my two boys because of an attack like this. Pete is a great father who loves his children more than anything. Wishing him and Chasten strength and support as they navigate this awful situation.
This week someone targeted my family for harm with a false report. We’re physically OK, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t harmed. I am beyond furious. Whatever your politics, this is awful, wrong, and can never become normal.
