Feds Lose Bid To End Redlining Order For Lakeland Bank - Law360 Real Estate Authority
A New Jersey federal judge has declined to sign off on the conclusion of a $13 million redlining deal between Lakeland Bank and the U.S. Department of Justice, ruling that the bank's existing compliance with the deal does not justify its early termination.

On Medicaid and Medicare's 61st anniversary, NJ Citizen Action, partner orgs. CWA Locals 1036 and 1139 SEIU joined healthcare workers and consumers to discuss the devastating impact of Trump's Medicaid cuts. The message was clear: these cuts are putting New Jersey families' health at risk!
Republicans cut Medicaid. Corporations got tax breaks. Patients pay the price. 10 million people have lost coverage. Hospitals and clinics are closing. Families are without care. It's time Congress takes on corporate price gouging. We need lower prices. And to strengthen Medicaid and Medicare.
