The National Low Income Housing Coalition is dedicated to achieving public policy that ensures people with the lowest incomes have affordable homes.

‘Private market on its own cannot produce or maintain housing at rents that <30% AMI renters can afford, as affordable rents for these households do not cover development & operating costs. This makes it financially unviable for private developers to build or maintain low-cost units without subsidy’
