Having worked for a bit with atp, I realized that there is a lot of uploading and fetching of records. I implemented a repository pattern with zod for type verification. What would be the preferred way to create and fetch records from my repo. Having zod and lexicons seems kinda redundant to me?

Does @leaflet.pub have an option to change theme when reading? I realized I don't like dark mode that much because my eyeballs don't like that.
What a nice number. Also, I did not know that. 🤯
Happy birthday, Blender! 🎂 Today, your own 3D software turns 2⁵! Here's to many more years of Freedom to Create. #b3d
I have discovered blender geometry nodes. Already can see that many hours will be spent dabbling with that.
It would be interesting to make a Not For You page. A complete opposite of what you like
/rant I went to Lidl and I saw their employees dumping paper receipts into trash cans labeled PET. Whatever at first, but then I remembered there being people from Lidl begging customers to donate €€ for some environment cause. The workers prolly dont care, but Lidl could lead by example here.
A really dumb idea: couldn't private data be achieved by encrypting data before uploading them to the PDS. "Obscurity is not security" taken to the max :)
I was wondering, does the bsky PDS have a size limit for storage objects? I'm working on an app that would need to store GPS trails, and I wonder how to handle that. Can I store it on bsky PDS, or can I store that data on a PDS that I keep up, thus it still being public?
I'm done with going out to coffee/beer and getting home with clothes all smelling like smoke. No more cafes with smoking allowed inside for me Im done
Yesterday during a beer, as you do, I pitched ATProto and the whole idea of "Open Social" to my uni friends. As we all study computer wizardry we touched on some pretty good questions. I'm still a total newcomer to tech and reading the docs could help w some questions. For now here they are in a 🧵
“Like with open source, open social is a compounding effort. Every mildly successful open social app lifts all open social apps. Every piece of shared infrastructure can benefit somebody else. At some point, open is bound to win.”

is there any way to delete an account on @tangled.org or to change the handle. Or link it with a bsky acc?
Open Social is the future. What a great article explaining the importance of decentralization!
