Personal opinion: I think that anyone considering building a "no human in the loop" AI SDLC is heading for pain and regret. Ignore the initial hype benefit in favour of pragmatic long term gains.

What's the one thing you wouldn't compromise on if it came down to it at work? Hard choice, I know. But I'll start: integrity.

At times I wonder if I'm in an episode of The Twilight Zone! The world seems to need a rollback to 2016 or thereabouts!

Officially on vacation now for festive season. Taking the weekend off before I start Christmas projects and things I couldn't get to due to day-to-day work. Some of which are team related. Oh and putting up decorations. Fun, fun, fun.

Took my wife walking with wolves (yes, real wolves!) for her birthday last week. Wonderful experience. Magnificent animals.

When you work with people for years and grow to like and respect them I think they become family. On the one hand it makes it hard if you have to separate but on the other hand it's a proud moment. Doesn't make it easy though.

Sometimes I think my language may not be befitting a VP of any company. But it's me and I probably can't change by now ;)

Did first Town Hall for combined IBM and Red Hat teams this week. Now need to figure out how to do engineering only All Hands and move forward together :)
