Aedes unilineatus has a large distribution and is often mistaken for the Asian tiger mosquito Ae. albopictus (inevitable when using simplified ID keys). For example, the occurrence of albopictus in Mali (WHO, gbif) was very probably unilineatus... 🧪🦟🌐
