The reaction to the Golden Axe series trailer shows me that we are ready for a return to sincerity in media. But I want to know how we got here.... Cause a decade ago, you would be crucified for NOT being meta and cynical. I wanted sincerity back then but it was frowned upon.

It's great and surprising to see a Golden Axe show! However, it feels kinda sad that it's a comedy. I feel like audiences are kinda over the meta sarcastic stuff. People are ready to be sincere again.
