I already wasn't interested in the PS6, but after this news, I'm even less interested in what they'll be bringing next-gen. This is something I would never have expected from the company who's slogan was "For the players." Congratulations, Sony. You've officially lost me as a loyal customer.

Physical disc production ending in January 2028 for new games releasing on PlayStation consoles blog.playstation.com/2026/07/01/p...

We truly had no idea how good we had it with the amazing output of banger exclusives during the 6th and 7th Console Generations. It's crazy how despite how mediocre Marathon is doing commercially and how uncertain the success of Fairgame$ will be, Sony is still trying to make "forever" games.

PlayStation says live service games can help 'revitalize the market' 🎮 They plan to continue investing in them: "We believe that live service games are content that attracts users on a global level, so we want to continue to revitalize the market through both first-party & third-party content"

Imagine trying to impede the development of your competition just for making a game with similar mechanics by suing the and trying to patent a mechanic that you didn't even innovate on only to receive only $30K If you win the lawsuit. Nintendo is so pathetic. 😂

Nintendo may only receive a $30,000 payout if it wins its high-profile legal battle with Palworld developer Pocketpair, an IP expert has said. But it's looking increasingly likely that Nintendo will lose.

Just got out of seeing The Mandolorian and Grogu. I didn't get the hate that some folks online were giving it. It was a fun action flick with The Mandolorian being a badass and Grogu being adorable on a big screen. What's not to enjoy?

Hard for me to get excited for anything Nintendo does nowadays. I get why people are hyped for the Star Fox 64 remake, but Nintendo's shady business practices, lawsuit against Palworld, and takedowns of emulation sites soured me on that company.
