🏆 PLAT GET! #143🏆 Dark Deity 2 A much improved sequel to the first one! Plays really well; its new upgrade system gels together and allows for so much customisation. It sits between Fire Emblem and Shining Force (and leans a bit more towards FE) as a worthy successor. Loved this one!

Dark Deity 2 Electric Boogaloo™ thread 🧵 I've played about 10 mins and the UI is much better, the font is so videogame-y I'm in love and there's a hot archer main character. On y va
✅ Dark Deity 1 beaten If you like GBA Fire Emblem, you'll like this. Fun maps, lots of different objectives, pretty battle animations... Writing is OK - nothing too spectacular, but it provides enough context for the maps.
I'm in a Fire Emblem mood so I'm gonna retry Dark Deity. I bounced off of it cuz the story felt meh and Ch10(?) started kicking my ass. Onwards! I love Mages in FE
✅ New Super Mario Bros. 2 replayed Wow, that was short. 🥲 The prettiest game in the series ngl. On the easier side but there's super hard DLC for those who care. NSMB2 deserves a better rep - it got hated/overshadowed by Wii U which came out three months later 😭
Ehh fuck it, we're replaying New Super Mario Bros. 2, too. 👻 One thing I'll miss from Wii is the Spin Jump. :'(
✅ New Super Mario Bros. Wii replayed I genuinely feel like this game could use a Deluxe edition. I think Nintendo thinks Wii U is "this game, but better" but there are noticeable differences and a lot of different levels to warrant it. Good game, had fun etc
