So I called the ophthalmology appointment line for Ochsner. They said I have to get a referral from my current doctor. I already messaged them about that and they said "you are able to see any provider in Ochsner New Orleans without needing a referral from us. All you have to do is call." 🙄😡

Ok, when use the drop down filter rather than entering ophthalmology is the search box, I get 3 doctors. So... This is why I put off switching doctors.

In Baton Rouge for a couple of days. Ran into people we knew at dinner last night and again just now waiting for a table at lunch. We did live here a long time.
Looks like a cage. Shame we can't just lock up most of the legislature.
Report: no lettuce. 😂 Produce bag had a steamer bag with Brussels sprouts, peppers, and herb butter; chopped broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots; cubed watermelon; and cubed sweet potato. Bakery bag had 3 eclairs, cake pops, and a loaf of multigrain bread. Well worth $20.

LOL. In my buzzed birthday condition, I left my purse behind at Brieux Carre. Ooops. It's fine, bartender confirmed it's there. We'll go back. Probably the best place in town i could leave it.
We slept really late today. No construction noise at the hotel, yay! A friend who also has a birthday this week is doing a Decatur pub crawl, so we met up with their group at Turtle Bay. There was construction noise there. 😂 I am glad they're actively working, on a weekend no less. But ugh.
I am so over this construction next door. They knocked our gate out of whack, damaged some siding, and today they broke our little lawn flamingo. Guessing they hit it with a ladder or something because it's broken on the sidewalk several feet away from its stake.
It has spread to Orleans and Moss. I fear Broad could be next.

Almost got hit because of that jerk who always parks right at the corner. Grr.
If Mike hadn't yelled at them, they'd probably have pulled the overhead line down. I'm over this construction crew. At least they're done with the other house on the block. That one is for sale if anyone wants to be my neighbor and have this fun. 😂
