BREAKING: Tree sit goes up to stop border wall construction in Arizona. The action is reportedly the first tree sit in the U.S. aimed at stopping construction of a border barrier. Land defenders on the ground are asking people to show up and support.

Last week, Juan Jairo Coronilla Durán, was struck and killed by a semi truck after fleeing Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers in Florida. The Department of Homeland security will say that this death was not foul play on their part, that the person fleeing should not have fled.
