figured I'd rather dig up old streams of consciousness rather than run the risk of repeating myself sometimes it just feels like the particular way I view the OG goats seems rather removed from what "the consensus" appears to be (not counting the diaper stuff obvs)

Goatdad all flustered trying to do the "birds and bees" spiel for his son who's accidently walked in on his parents' padded tomfoolery, who'd rather be literally anywhere else now that he has context for that plastic rustling he sometimes hears coming from his dad

Goatmom just sits at the bed's edge with her face covered because she knows she couldn't explain this in a way that doesn't come off as awkward either Goatson can only mutter that it's been years since he's had sex ed and it sure didn't prepare him for this

(they settle on buying him tickets for that concert he was going on about for weeks as an apology for not locking the door, and he's already aware that everyone in his family got some screws loose so it's not like he can blame them for that, especially given his own forays on the matter)

(honestly if there's a thing I crave more than goatdad mucking up his pamps it's awkward-but-well-intentioned goatfamily moments by virtue of goatson being back and everyone being a little conflicted but eventually deciding their love for each other matters more)

(well, maybe not goatdad, dude's more than aware of his failings so he doesn't have to think twice about cherishing his loved ones, it's the getting across that point that's causing issues)
