I need to encourage everyone to NOT watch the 'What Happened To Sex' documentary. It is WILDLY unnuanced, bordering on puritanical, reminiscent of the satanic panic.

All my opinions are my own, not my employers.
Social media bans are stupid. Here's my new son, Piripāua, he is also stupid, but in an endearing way.
As someone who is in the middle of a fight between left and right. There are too many times where I think "who needs emenies when you have friends like this" Like we aren't trying our very very best under incredible stress, dealing with horrible people. Not sure I want to be in this fight anymore.

Now in my third year of posting this little doom loop graphic.

NZ First to Campaign for Referendum on Māori Seats... This shouldn't be surprising, but my mouth did open. As we organize, continued, renewed, and sustained attacks on our progress towards equity will come for the powers in politics.

The way that the boys in the current govt yell "No" like petulant children when house votes happen is ridiculous.
The people having an issue with me putting a suggested dress code on an event are all Pākehā. It seems like Pākehā a very much not used to having to follow an outfit guideline for an event. But yous are making me want to rip out my hair
I remember before I started working and I thought traveling for work would be so fun. Now I have to fly somewhere in NZ every week for the next 4 weeks. And my whakaaro has changed. Today I'm in Tairāwhiti, which is, to be fair, a very fun airport.
We go way back with @micheleacourt.bsky.social. She's MCd NetHui at least three times and voiced videos for us – so she was our first choice to help us host NetTalks, and we're so pleased she said yes! Christchurch, we'd love you to join us this Friday at 5.30pm.
I just found out which two bills were drawn from the biscuit tin today, why would fate do this to me. I have enough going on, pls leave me alone.
Hey, you all saw me fail at NetHui. I tried something different. It's cheap as (DM me for a 50%off discount code). It's the inspirational-ness of a great conference, crossed with an easy entertaining experience for the audience = NetTalks. Please come! Please 🙏🏼
Ōtautahi, we are bringing NetTalks to you! Quickfire kōrero on tech. Oct 31 🎃 5.30pm, The Piano, $20 tickets. Izzi Lithgow on cybersecurity, Bron Scott on digital equity, Sam Sehnert on AI, Mike Grimshaw on crumbling society, Cara Swit on social media bans & Elle Archer on Māori innovation.
If anyone can point me to a single jurisdiction that has successfully (efficiently and effectively) age-gated social media platforms. Then I would be happy to have a conversation about it.
Given I'm 30 now, I figured it was time that I do the oral hearings myself, like an adult. Answering the big questions.
Well I have just left the office for potentially my longest ever shift. I am truly exhausted. Please don't come asking me about NetHui I only just finished the AGM.
Has anyone got any good family lawyer recs for Auckland?
I'm having lots of fun at NZNOG not really understanding much. But loving the merch.
The sound of women laughing 😍🤌🏻💋 The sound of men laughing 🤢😠👀
I remember when I used to go to events, say where I work, and people would have no idea who we were and what we do. That does not happen anymore. I miss those days.

I've literally had to get my partner to hide my work phone and laptop from me for the weekend. Because he knows I'll go on it and I've been working 17 hours days. Happy matatini though. 🫠
