Anyway then you immediately encounter Eomer and he does the “elf a man and dwarf” line except at this point your party is an elf, three men, and a dwarf. And one of those men is literally a Rider of Rohan.

I thought this happened either right before or right after Helm’s Deep, supposedly I’m only 28% of the way through the game. Why does one disk hold 28% of the game and the other disc has 72%.

The level after Moria has some weird choices that are making me wonder if this game was also a rush job. Like, within the first few minutes you get Epic Scenes telling you “Here’s the lowdown on Littleton,” “The Fellowship has gone ahead on the river,” “Ope, Boromir’s dead,” “Here’s Eomer.”

Beat the Balrog first try. Didn’t even grind beforehand. By the time I get to the next big boss Idrial will have Frenzy and at that point it’s basically over.

Junior year of college, me and my roommate both recently single and finding ourselves with a lot of free time all of a sudden, so we start having regular jam sessions. One of the first songs we ever try to play together is “When Your Mind’s Made Up,” him on guitar, me on keys.

Ok, more sophisticated criticism: How is it a reveal that that's a dinosaur. Like, what is the impact of that supposed to be. "Where on Earth in the past, see, there's a dinosaur." Ok, well, you started this episode on an alien pre-warp planet riding horses, so. Seems like dinos could be anywhere.

If you post a song cover using the “<song title> (<artist> Cover)” format, you can either use the artist whose version your cover is closest to, or the original artist. What you cannot do is use “Hallelujah (Jeff Buckley Cover)” as the title for what is very obviously a Rufus Wainwright cover.

If a team makes a game that gets great reviews and doesn't sell, that's a biz failing but the silver lining is you caught lighting in a bottle -- protect that team! It's worth its weight in gold. If you jettison the team but keep the biz people, I don't know what to tell you

Oh I thought it was McConnell but I guess this is something. To be clear: Lindsay Graham was a coward and a hypocrite and died in the service not to state or country but to a man he once claimed to loathe, simply because it was politically inexpedient for him to have any principles whatsoever.

The main problem with replaying Third Age is that, as a fairly linear turn-based game, the main form of skill expression is knowing which stats and skills to focus on for each character. And if you know all that from the beginning the game becomes trivially easy, even on Hard mode.

Crafting in this game is horrible though, I have to craft 51 Kingsfoils to unlock Lembas?? That’s 51 turns! Turns that I’m not doing something actually useful! And the rest of the items have even higher requirements?? Never gonna happen, waste of an elfstone slot.
