Even though it was REALLY hot yesterday, some butterflies had what seemed to be a networking meeting in the vegetable patch (I know it needs weeding but it was too hot...) 🌱 #gardening #hobbygardener #feedcleanse

We are having an absolutely brilliant year for roses. I love that i can just mix and match the colours! 🌱 #gardensky #hobbygardener
For once a reasonable, non-exaggerating about cave diving. The last paragraph is crucial and exactly what i tell my students every time! (I am "only" an OWSI but it holds true for recreational diving as well) #divesky #scubadiving #cavediving

The nice thing about our rather random approach to gardening is that it's also random which flowers we can cut for the house each year 😁🌱 #gardenfeed #gardensky ##growingrootsinberlin
Friends of ours use these linen envelopes for guest napkins and have asked me to embroider them. As I spent sooooooo much time on trains this week I managed to finish 3 so far! Perfect size to work on when on a crowded train 😉 #cross-stitch #stitchsky
I have travelled throughout the world but the chaos on @deutschebahn.com in southern Germany was truly impressive. The icing on the cake was the delayed train pulling out just as the delayed connecting train opened the doors on the other side of the platform. Increasing my delay from 3 to 4 hours! 🤬
Timeline cleanse... The first one of our two-coloured roses has opened up. It shows that being fairly brutal to your roses pays off... 🌱🌹

It's the time of year for the "massacre of the roses" where we radically cut them down in spring time. It's always a bit heart breaking but they always come back better and denser a couple of weeks later! Totally worth it! 🌱
As an old family cross stitched advent calendar apparently got lost in one of the many moves or refurbs I have started making a new one. After 6 weeks I have finally managed to finish the first part! Let's see if I manage to get it done for 🤞 #crosstitch #artsandcrafts #diy
Feeling very proud when our LO decided to spend time on the library while we went shopping! Parenting goal achieved 💪! #youngreaders #supportyourlocallibrary #booksky
No, Paddington shouldn't be americanised 🤦♀️ Where do these people get their ideas? It would be so boring if all characters/films/books would be the same! What next? Asterix as an American? Spiderman as a Frenchman? www.bbc.com/news/article...

Thank God Whammageddon doesn't start until tomorrow! Hamburg city centre today...
Usually I wait until the 25th of May to post pictures of our lilac in bloom but this year I don't think they will last until then. So posting on Sir Terry Pratchett Day instead... so we don't forget our heroes! #GNUSirTerryPratchett
Yusuf/Cat Steven's song ‘Where Do The Children Play?’ couldn't be more up to date and relevant today even though it was first published in 1970. I love the new video created by Chris Hopewell & Black Dog Films in 2020: youtu.be/nBCJhNiKhFE?...
