Really interesting that we have a mayor who sent in innocent city workers (who have dedicated their lives to helping those in need) to enact a decision she alone made, subjecting them to unprecedented verbal abuse, & she doesn't even show up to defend her staff doing her bidding.

'DHS has sent hundreds of subpoenas to social-media companies, according to people familiar with the matter. Its agents have tracked down Americans at work and on the road, asking them to sign letters acknowledging their online speech about ICE “may” be a crime.' www.wsj.com/politics/pol...

Convinced Kaoly Her is going ahead with this encampment sweep this morning despite almost everyone in the know telling her to delay because she thinks she’d otherwise appear politically weak. It’s awful of the mayor to put vulnerable people at greater risk just to try and save her political career.

Kat Donnelly, a nurse with Healthcare for the Homeless, spent Tuesday scrambling to refill medications and make sure patients knew where to find her ahead of the Pig's Eye Park encampment closure Wednesday morning.

Donald Trump wants to spend your taxpayer dollars separating families and building new ICE prisons. In 2016, I voted against reopening this prison in Appleton. In the Senate, I'm not going to send one more penny to this lawless, out-of-control agency. Let's rip ICE apart.

Long-shuttered Appleton, Minn. prison to reopen for ICE detainees

I remember when Peters announced his retirement, some folks tried to pressure Pete to run since he now lives in Traverse City. The assumption then was that Michigan had a pretty deep bench and that folks might have trouble supporting a newcomer to the state. I assume he's going to run for president.

No matter who wins tonight's primaries in Michigan, the state Democratic party is launching a rally for all of the top nominees on Friday in Detroit. Pete Buttigieg will join the event - seeking to unify, after a blistering fight between Abdul El-Sayed & Rep. Haley Stevens

I'm currently looking to raise money for #ICEout observers in rural Minnesota, some of whom are easily driving 100mi or more every day while working to exercise their constitutional rights in places where local police openly collaborate with ICE to hinder them. venmo: @quecksilber #FuckICE
