Today is Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday! 🌍 For a century, he has inspired us to look closer, care more, and protect what we often take for granted. We're proud to feature him in our book, Earth Heroes, written by Lily Dyu with the University of Cambridge, and illustrated by Jackie Lay.

A bright and colourful illustration shows Sir David Attenborough surrounded by exotic plants and holding a chameleon on his hand, which he looks at with curiosity and wonder. Above him is a circular graphic of Planet Earth in the centre of the image, with the quote: “The natural world is the greatest source… of so much in life that makes life worth living.” Surrounding him are more illustrations of different scenes from around the world. The artwork is by Jackie Lay, taken from the book Earth Heroes, written by Lily Dyu, in collaboration with the University of Cambridge. The book is published by Nosy Crow.

It’s officially the first day of spring, so step outside and enjoy nature coming back to life with a visit to your local National Trust property 🌿✨ Artwork is by Carolina Rabei, from the book A Story of the Seasons, written by Anna Wilson, published in partnership with National Trust.

The graphic shows a beautiful and atmospheric illustration of a lush nature path on a clear spring day, with bluebells, snowdrops, buttercups in the foreground and a path winding through gentle hills and the sun setting in the distance. An adult and child are seen happily walking along the path with their dog.
