I'm not quite sure why it's hard for people to understand that. The worst of a particular fandom are made up of the same people who are the worst in other fandoms. People don't suddenly go from telling a Creator to kys for a creative choice one moment, and then being kind and calm in another.

Cold take- Letting kids believe in Santa, or magic, or fairies or whatever they want to I'm even encouraging such when they're little is not lying- It's having some whimsy in your god forsaken life lol

The more I talk to different groups of people, the more I realize the weird things I thought were solely my own weird traits. The kind I always shamed myself for was just.. Normal things, that a lot of people do? "You mean it isn't a sign of being crazy for checking if I locked my door 4 times?"
