Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

I felt so lucky to meet so many amazing people at #ffxiv #Fanfest Berlin. A few highlights were @itsredzy.bsky.social, @preachgaming.bsky.social & @melzelia.bsky.social. Meeting @pintlive.bsky.social was also incredibly cool, she's really very lovely, but I didn't think to get a picture with her.

This was my favourite cosplayer at #Fanfest Berlin - Gerolt. He would give you a task to collect memories & then he would upgrade your relics (cosplay weapons). In my case, I paid with a Tomestone of Poetics - he added a bell on a string then tapped it with his hammer. 14/10 fantastic #cosplay idea.

The #FanfestWOLExchange was an ✨experience✨ Y'all are amazing. I ended up with so many stickers, amongst other things! So many cute WoLs, so much great art. Seeing people's faces light up as I hand them a tiny tomestone really made my day. #ffxivfanfest #ffxiv #fanfest

#Fanfest Berlin was amazing. I wasn't really at my best but I met so many fantastic people, you were all fantastic. I've barely begun to process what happened this weekend. But before anything else I must thank @rubyarch.bsky.social who made it possible & @polygotcrafts.com who helped me survive.

This weekend I was mistaken for @jessecox.bsky.social In their defence; I am a bearded, generously proportioned human being and it was dimly lit in most of #Fanfest, but honestly I took it as a compliment.

While I won't be in cosplay as such, I will be walking around #Fanfest with a huge staff. Cosplayers go to a different entrance so they can have their gear checked, right? Would a 3D printed staff with an Aethernet Shard on the end count? Don't want to queue in the wrong line 😅

Taco Bell has opened near enough that I can get it delivered. I may never financially, or medically, recover from this.

I've been growing my hair and my beard out, so at #fanfest I'll be sporting the ✨homeless✨ look.

I know they'll get a bit lighter after drying, but I'm super impressed that bleaching then dying these jeans worked so well. I'm going to be the yellowest fat guy at Fanfest.

Learn from my stupidity: The #FFXIV #Fanfest Berlin general schedule webpage shows in (mostly) local time. Change the location top right to show times as they'll be in Berlin if you're working out plans for visiting 😅 I wrote out a whole schedule for myself that was an hour out.
