The reason "pallettes of cash" became such a sticky anti-JCPOA talking point is because it's vivid - you can hold an image of it in your mind's eye. "$300 billion" sounds like a lot of money but doesn't connect with people the same way. Dems should consider this in crafting talking points

Have you ever wondered why if you save an empty Rust file your editor might add a newline? I thought it was a @zed.dev bug, but turns out it's cause Zed by-default enables format_on_save and rust-analyzer. When rust-analyzer invokes rustfmt and that actually adds the newline. But why?

It took me far too long to realize Indeed was merging with GlassDoor and not NextDoor. For the life of me I couldn’t grasp the private equity AI fever dream where combining profiles of racist NextDoor comments and resumes of unemployed folks led to a profitable synergy.

One of my favorite parts of coding agents is that I can just say "fix my merge conflict". I will happily pay some number of pennies to outsource the first pass to a machine.

Not a single streaming service has “random” or “I’m feeling lucky” button for television episodes. When watching Friends, no one wants to choose amongst 236 episodes — pick one and I’ll say yes/no.

We all deserve snow days. ⛄️ Any administrator pushing for 7hrs of zoom meetings for kids should be fired. Requiring employees to work during a state of emergency (especially w/o childcare) should be illegal for non-emergency jobs. It’s not hard: don’t expect work when things close for snow. ❄️

Sigh. Neither of these programs should exist. Citizens should be treated equally. Full stop. Airline security is not an Amazon Prime or Costco membership. While we’re at it, abolish the security theater around liquids, shoe removal, pocket knives and scale back the budget accordingly.
