(Finished 8/5/26) Andor Season 1 (2022) and 2 (2025) 📺 9/10 (Rewatch 🔃) what a good show man. wish it got another season so some of the more important but not "main" characters (bix, cinta, etc) got more screentime. otherwise: basically perfect and the best of star wars

idk why but ive seen a lot of political poll results today. i played that game already. i followed nate fucking silver in 2024. i spend months stressed every fucking day over the results of an election "i knew the results of" and then i was dead wrong. never again

7/26/26: The Invite (2026) 🎥 8/10 I enjoyed how intimate this is, and everyone involved (especially Wilde and Norton) are acting their asses off, but it's too similar to "Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf" for me to not stop comparing them in my head.
7/25/26: Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender2026 (2026) 🎥 6/10 Beautiful animation, terrible pacing. I was really let down by this. The gaang doesn't get enough to do and the film never gets enough time to slow down. All action, no character.

7/14/26: Hoppers (2026) 🎥 9/10 A fun time! I do wish its environmental themes were pushed a little more---the parts involving Mabels background / grandmother just didn't hit for me. Also, there is a moment in this that might be the single funniest thing in any Pixar movie.
7/7/26: Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die (2026) 🎥 7/10 A funny satire that manages to do a "phones bad" plot without feeling patronizing.
7/5/26: The Big Lebowski (1998) 🎥 9/10 Effortlessly funny while at the same being a genuinely interesting mystery while speaking to the various headspaces or ethos (wow proof i watched the movie) of the time. Good stuff!
