Artists, if someone commissions you to copy another artists' style, it is OK to say no. You are not some cheaper secondary option because they couldn't get a slot with a specific artist. People should come to you for your UNIQUE artstyle. You DESERVE that level of respect.

There's something to be said about how most of the projects that get massive online hate campaigns aimed towards them happen to be independent projects made with small teams, and also just so happen to be queer. Intriguing to say the least...

What's with the sudden hatred for Lesbian Space Princess? It came out a year ago! I saw it in cinemas and thought it was fine, it's a nice movie with a cute art style, some funny jokes, likable characters, maybe it's a bit cringe and tumblrcore but I didn't find it annoying.

I cannot stress enough: the AI bubble has already popped it is just being kept on life support by corporations trying to squeeze even a dollar more out of their shit investment, and tech bros doing the same before abandoning their shit company startups. keep hating on AI, you're winning

Report Suggests Nearly No One Is Buying AI Generated Goods https://kotaku.com/3d-model-markets-are-being-flooded-with-ai-sellers-but-no-ones-buying-2000724790

Is it just me or has the number of DeviantArt accounts dedicated to reposting other artists' work without permission drastically increased this year? DA either needs to start cracking down on this, OR they need to add a "reposting without permission" option in the reporting list.
