We had ZERO freezes today during stream, so I think the scuff with the capture card is FINALLY over!! Final results: USB power saver turned off + moving the USB port to the back of the PC rather than the front.

A lot of Guild Wars 2 fans evidently do NOT understand that the reason some people chose their main class is not for the aesthetics but for lore reasons. Some of us were drawn to the Sylvari for the initial lore, and got hooked deeper the more we played. A replacement is not a Sylvari. Stop it!

The hiatus I was considering for 2027 may end up coming sooner rather than later... I've already had to turn off auto-opt features minutes before stream, as well as blocking global emotes that were GenAI. If I cannot 100% opt out of garbage like this, I will be withdrawing for a bit...

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

Nearly got a bit emotional during lore aspects of BotW because honestly? I do feel this is needed to remind a lot of folks I have encountered in the last few years of this space. I do feel better these days at least. I've been regaining my mental staminal little by little.
