Living in a hotel for a month can add up to rent for most people. It's not so expensive that it can't be maintained.

Disney does not own the classic fairy tales. Those are public domain. They only own their adaptations of said fairy tales. Anyone can still make up their own versions of fairy tales you just can't copy Disney's versions.
