It was a pretty great price for a physical game, and with soundtrack, a 100 page journal game book and some honestly quite nice little monster art cards all for 60$. And also the joy of seeing my art on a whole set of merch!
I’m still playing a ton of the solo board game Final Girl. It’s so good and all the unique situations that can come up are super interesting.🔪 This one is basically like Saw and you deal with traps the killer sets instead of directly fighting them.🪚 Best board game ever, it’s so my jam🤘

Having fun with Iron Nest. I like games where you fiddle with physical controls and triangulate stuff. Always scratches this very particular itch. Fun stuff!

The legit most unrealistic part about Primer, the ‘04 sci-fi thriller, is that two tech bros sat on their invention for a few years because they wanted to understand the implications of their technology and not release it to world too soon. And yes, it also includes building a Time Machine.
How do the semi-randomized levels in Gone Feral work? -The overall layout is setup with shapes saying what kinds of locations can spawn. Ex: Shops, nature, campsites, etc. -It pulls from a list of valid locations and settles/integrates that into the terrain

So normally if you jam stuff together in a game, it causes z-fighting, which is when things flicker. To fix this you usually have to make custom pieces that are the right size or shift things around a bit. Here's how I fixed it instead.🧵
