Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

if im perfectly real about what happened here its an issue of discoverability. because other than like MKL streams, andrea's supercombo articles, my failed podcast or just getting lucky or knowing people i dont see a lot of open lanes to organically discover new lower budget fighting games

Might be making a scrambling pivot as an event I was told I would have to skip on reached out to me about submitting. Getting ready in a short turn around is going to be rough as I was not prepared and been busy tackling so many QoL and tying up loose ends.

Still feels a little bizarre it needs to be mentioned since, when I started, by hand was the norm. #ElemensionalRift was not made with AI and was entirely made by myself (and there is some art by an artist that was let go that is in the process of being remade).

The arena forms of stages have been a bit too similar and have been working on gently giving them personality & uniqueness while not disrupting the wants for competitive players.

I know I've been neglecting social media quite a bit. Been a bit overwhelmed with a lot of IRL projects helping the family with things. Also working at the day job every day and keeping #ElemensionalRift progress flowing. Been exhausting and time squeezed but trying not to let it slip too far.

The industry does not share secrets. When I started Elemensional Rift, rollback netcode was still a secret sauce without a mainstream name held by NRS (yes, it has been a long while). By the time I heard it as a term, I was deep enough in that I would have to restart entirely to make it compatible
