Just something to watch in the long-range. This trough just off the west coast has been showing up in the ECMWF weeklies for a few days now. Now the EPS is coming into range. A lot to iron out between now and then, but this would certainly be a watch out pattern for dry lightning. #wawx #wawildfire

Another new wildfire has started NW of the #OldTrailsFire. This is being called the #AutumnLaneFire and is currently south of Charles Road. This is WEST of the Spokane River. #wawx #wawildfire.

The #OldTrailsFire has jumped the Spokane River along Aubrey L White Pkwy south of the Spokane Rifle Club. Radio traffic reports the fire is moving 100 yards a minute. If you are in a level 3 zone, you need to LEAVE NOW. #wawx #wawildfire

Two new fires could be on the landscape for a while. The #SinlahekinFire (photo 1) west of Tonasket is in difficult terrain for initial attack. The #BradeenHillFire (photo 2) across the Columbia from Inchelium is being bombarded by aviation resources with structures threatened. #wawx #wawildfire

Ventured to the Needles Overlook today to observe smoke from the #BabylonFire. Smoke was slow to clear from this morning. This might have played a role in a slightly less active fire this afternoon. We also found a neat rock formation. #utwx #UTfire
