I can’t speak to the others but Beacon Pines was a wonderful choose your own adventure style interactive storybook. Well worth a playthrough and with some mildly intense moments I’d very much say it’s a near all ages experience (pg-pg13).

NGL I am trying to make my way through one of my favorite yet neglected genres(RPG’s) in my backlog and stick to it, but if i get any of these 4 games in the near future then all bets are off. This is one time being broke/CAG is saving me from myself.

Far better than i thought they’d be. Sort of a mass market version of the figmas. Missing a bunch of the extras that came with those but zelda looks more posable and the details look pretty good even at that lower price point. Very tempting to pick these up even with owning the figmas.

I can’t speak for the assorted 5 and neon white won’t be for everyone,but Tunic and Sea of Stars are both an excellent combination of old school nostalgia with some new ideas and well worth $15 on their own and more so together.

Yes i do understand there is a ,often silent,middle ground,but it can feel a bit maddening to see these two extremes as the only vocal representatives. It can make these hobbies feel crazier and that much more toxically polarizing.

I think one thing that appeals to me with my older systems are that they are for the most part closed libraries. If i never mod or download a single rom i can say i am happy with the games i have and can play. I would gladly add here or there but, by and large, i am happy with what i have there.
