Anyone did a systematic search of Tolkien-related words in the #epsteinfiles? Since #Thiel used #palantir and #anduril for his malicious products, I thought there might be more. But I didn't find any. I think these people are all superficial, so all candidates from the Silmarillion did not work.

Coverage of an important new article just out in Science. Although saying it needs "just" these four interventions is a bit weird, when those are probably the most difficult measures to get, the authors do provide a silver lining by outlining just how big of a difference these measures would make.

The High Ambition Coalition to End Plastic Pollution just finalized the new Ministerial Statement. It will be published ahead of INC-3, the third meeting of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on Plastic Pollution, taking place in Nairobi on 11-19 November. Glad to see the 60 members united!

Working for the High Ambition Coalition to End Plastic Pollution is such a great experience, even though it's just been two months now. But getting back to an issue I helped move to the global governance agenda, and that has evolved into full-fledged intergovernmental negotiations? Priceless!
