I hate posting about this, but the problem with liberal posturing to minorities is that they don’t understand the fundamental contradiction you embody. If u knew me at 18– hell, even 24– , u’d see the messy intersection of disinvestment and pride that makes us a sort of imperfect victim.

Jen Hernandez, and people like her, may just decide who controls Congress this year. Hernandez, 43, is Mexican-American, millennial, married, and lives in a small city in Colorado. In 2016, she voted for comedian Roseanne Barr. In 2020, she backed Biden, and in 2024 Jill Stein. 🧵

I bought a bunch of na beer for a friend who ended up bringing their own so now I’ve been drinking them and they really helping me drink less. Stressed af so it really scratches the itch of “I’ll have a beer after work”

I hung with a friend’s relative yesterday who was 18 and every time I talk to young women I get so mad thinking that older men think it’s ok (even preferable!) to pursue them. I feel protective, proud, curious of them. Reminds me of my youth, how much more I know now.

I still can’t believe im being paid to make a comic book for a public agency. I love meticulous research!!! I even bought some cool software for it. Thanks to my writer friends that suggested Scrivener!!!

Friend and I yesterday being like omg we’re almost 40, and feeling good and getting places then we realized—- ohhhh it’s cause no children 🙂‍↕️ took over 8 years to be healthy but I got there

You know that meme adage whatever you wanna call it “we’re not supposed to know everyone’s thoughts”? I think it’s fascinating that we have direct link to a persons thoughts feelings analysis but when not face to face, that still is only through context, sign and the nuance of the unsaid.
