Rohingya residents of Paan Zee Hamlet,Badaga village (northern Buthidaung), were forcibly ordered by Arakan Army on Feb 16 to stay in a paddy field west of Paan Zee market during the day.They are evicted daily and only allowed to return home at 7 PM.There are about 500 families.
On Feb 6 at 4:00 PM in the evening,a landmine explosion occurred Shwe Zar Maungdaw.Three Rohingya,including a young child,were injured in the blast.The victims have been identified as Nur,Shahey and Kyaw.This incident highlights the ongoing danger faced by Rohingya due to landmine in the village.
