Watching the President receive the FIFA Peace Prize, I'm struggling to think of a more obvious attempt at placating/grovelling to a tyrannical man-baby than by giving him an entirely made-up award that makes literally no sense whatsoever.

Here is a beautifully dainty kittiwake for Alan's #BirdOfTheDay #shadesofgrey theme with more complementary shades of grey in the surrounding rocks. This lovely gull is in trouble, red listed, with the UK breeding population nearly halved over the last 50 years or so. #UKwildlife #birds

This is predicted to be one of the most damaging windfarms for birds we are aware of anywhere on the planet. We support nature positive offshore wind, but this isn’t it. It’s a disaster in the making.

A dark day for Scotland’s seabirds. We're incredibly concerned that Scottish Government have granted consent for the Berwick Bank offshore windfarm, which could catapult some of our most vulnerable species toward extinction 🚨 We will carefully scrutinise the details and consider our next steps.

Its impacts are so damaging it will make it very difficult for other, less-harmful windfarms to come forward. The warning couldn’t be clearer. ⚠️ Slashing the nature-friendly farming budget would be catastrophic for the nature and climate crisis, and for our long-term food security. What's more, it would leave the UK Government’s credibility on climate and nature in tatters.

Labour promised to restore nature. ❌ Instead, their Planning Bill contains a licence to destroy it. We offered solutions. We’re done waiting. Part 3 of the Bill would gut the laws protecting our most precious habitats & species. Without significant change, it must be scrapped.
