Welcome to day 43 of drawing until I'm good at it! Today I did a lot of fixing for the hands and some extra details on the skirt! These gold lining things on the edges of the fabric are really giving me a hard time, probably because I'm not so good at making long straight lines yet. Finishing next?

Welcome to Day 42 of drawing until I'm good at it! Still splitting my time between boring practice and normal drawing so I'm not making as much progress as I normally would, but the drawing is coming together for sure!

Welcome to day 41 of drawing until I'm good at it! Continuing the Frieren drawing, I was being very particular about getting details right so not a lot looks different. Feeling more confident with my tablet though!

Today I tried something new: on top of my dexterity training, I traced over this Frieren reference's general body shape and will try and draw her on top of my base! I think it's looking pretty good so far, I think I'll actually be finishing this one

Welcome to day 39 of drawing until I'm good at it! Today I primarily did dexterity training by drawing basic shapes and tracing pictures so here's some of that! Trying to get better acquainted with my drawing tablet.

I've been spending half my drawing time on dexterity training now instead of all drawing so I make less progress per day, but hopefully I'll see more improvement this way! Here's some lackluster attempts at Paulette (Fantasy Life) and Momo!

Welcome to day 36 of drawing until I'm good at it! Today I was inspired heavily by @pikat.io to draw Lebanne from Pokemon, although I'm not super happy with how this one's going. Feels like I'm brushing up against a lot of skills I don't have, and I especially need to work on improving my lines.

Welcome to day 35 of drawing until I'm good at it! I'd say I'm officially back now, getting into a routine again so I can draw more! I'm slowly learning all the features of clip studio paint (was already acquainted with photoshop but wasn't great) and having a lot of fun, expect more silly sketches!

Welcome to day 34 of drawing until I'm good at it! I got a drawing tablet for Christmas, so expect more fiddling with that! If anybody has suggestions for starter guides or brush sets to use for Clip Studio Paint as well I'd love to hear about it, a lot of this is new and exciting for me!

Welcome to day 33 of drawing until I’m good at it! I was gifted some new drawing supplies today so I fiddled with them for a bit and created the worst sketch ever at the bottom! I’ll be back with something with a bit more effort behind it next time!

Welcome to day 32 of drawing until I’m good at it! I’m back after an eventful weekend to work on Iono! I’m decently happy with how I’m handling the metallic pattern, we’ll see how it goes when I add more later!

Welcome to day 31 of drawing until I’m good at it! Hardest thing today was tackling the face, I was very concerned about the eye placements and while this isn’t perfect I’d call it good enough! Not sure how I’m gonna do her undershirt texture with just pencil but I’ll be getting to that next time!

Welcome to days 16 and 17 of drawing until I’m good at it! I drew yesterday but forgot to post 😂 Had a lot of fun drawing Phoenix! Was really impressed with how well I did the sketch at first. There’s a lot of shading in the reference so I’ll probably shade it tomorrow and draw something else after.

Welcome to day 15 of drawing until I’m good at it! Maya is done! I think the shading turned out a little odd but I’m learning my limits with simple pencils. Had some extra time so I learned I have no clue how to make Chiikawa look proportional. 😂

Welcome to day 14 of drawing until I’m good at it! I’m back from a small hiatus to continue Maya! The proportions were very off so I had to do a lot of erasing and adjusting, it’s looking a lot better! Will finish it tomorrow and then do something small next to it probably!

Welcome to day 13 of drawing until I’m good at it! Started drawing Maya Fey today, saw some art of her and got inspired. The particular reference I chose has some shapes I was struggling with, the eyes and jaw were taking me a long time. Will finish tomorrow hopefully!
