Together, our voices matter! Before the June 8 Council meeting, our members urged our municipal leaders to approve motions to protect our health from LNG’s pollution and protect climate action funding from the Province. Both passed! Thanks to everyone who took the time to write and speak up.

On June 25, NW Climate Action Hub members joined advocates in Burnaby to deliver a national People’s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to local MPs. This initiative urges MPs to stand up for their constituents following the federal-provincial pipeline MOU between PM Carney and Premier Smith.
Our Hub & Urban Impact partnered with our City at the 2026 New West Canada Day Event to reduce waste going into the landfill! About 12,000 people attended the July 1st event, but Hubsters were up to the task and still had fun. The fabulous, climate-pollution-free drone show capped off the day!
