To me, this reads more like damage control than walking anything back, cancel your nitro and let it actually hit them. If you cancel it and it says that your sub will end on (x) date, do not let them try to walk the goalposts closer to you to try to entice you to resub before they take the $ hit

Even ignoring the big issue of legality and how much it would quickly kill the biggest and best fanfic site. Just piss off trying to monetise everything. Let us enjoy just making and reading stuff without having to worry about an algorithm or ads ffs
